L&Q launch new family homes at Beauchamp Park in Warwickshire

As average property prices in Warwickshire continue to outstrip those in neighbouring Worcestershire and Staffordshire, young professionals and growing families are finding it increasingly difficult to afford a home in the historic county.* To satisfy the demand for affordable family homes in the area, on 28th and 29th May, L&Q launched their newest collection of three-bedroom Shared Ownership houses at Beauchamp Park.

Part of the Warwick Gateway urban extension which will bring 1,600 homes to the area, residents at Beauchamp Park will soon benefit from an array of new on-site amenities, including a community centre, a primary school, and a country park.

Claire Brenlund, Sales and Marketing Director at L&Q comments: “We’re delighted to be delivering more Shared Ownership homes at Beauchamp Park, offering first time buyers an affordable alternative to buying on the open market in the historic region of Warwick.

“Our new three-bedroom homes are larger than an average newbuild home, making them perfect for first-time buyers seeking more space in a green, family-friendly neighbourhood, with play areas, cycle paths, and walking routes throughout the development.”

Homes at Beauchamp Park have been thoughtfully designed to reflect the character of Warwick and the surrounding natural landscapes through the use of sympathetic materials and colours. Inside, L&Q’s homes are finished to a high specification. The kitchen’s open-plan layout ensures that residents get the most out of their internal living space, whilst integrated appliances allow new buyers to move straight in and entertain family and friends in the comfort of their new home. All bathrooms come complete with chrome fittings and heated towel rails, and en-suites feature rainfall showerheads. All homes come complete with double doors that lead to turfed gardens, ideal for relaxing on a summer day.

In a place that Shakespeare once referred to as an epitome of English spirit, Warwickshire is the ideal location for a family home. The development itself offers an extended vista, with eye-catching views of Warwick Castle, a historic landmark for the region. For family day out, there are leisure centres, bars, restaurants, and independent shops located in nearby Warwick. Further afield, Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford Upon Avon beckons to be explored, and the Royal Pump Rooms Art Gallery and Museum in Leamington Spa is just a short drive away for those keen to learn more about local culture. A number of nurseries, schools, and higher education institutions, including Warwick Preparatory School, Warwick School, and the University of Warwick, are all just a short distance away, making the location perfect for growing families.

For transport connections from Beauchamp Park, frequent trains from Warwick Station allow residents to reach Birmingham within half an hour, and Central London in less than an hour and a half. Birmingham Airport is a short 24-minute drive from Beauchamp Park, providing residents with easy access to weekend getaways. There are also plenty of cycle routes surrounding the development, with Warwick Town Centre just a 7-minute ride away, and the buzzing town of Royal Leamington Spa accessible in just 15 minutes.

Shared Ownership prices start at £127,750 for a 35% share of a three-bedroom home (FMV: £365,000).
