Worcestershire bistro rated in top 10% of restaurants in the world

A neighbourhood bistro in Worcestershire has been rated in the top 10% of restaurants in top world, according to TripAdvisor.

Black & Green in Barnt Green, Worcestershire, was recognised by the platform, based on its reviews over the last 12 months.

With an average score of 4.9 out of five, diners regularly praised the quality of food and high level of service.
The Michelin Guide listed restaurant is owned by Open Restaurant Group (ORG) – award-winning chef Andrew Sheridan and his business partners Sam and Emma Morgan.

Black & Green is a 16-seater restaurant serving a taster menu focussed on sustainable, local ingredients and British wines.

Andrew said: “We are really focussed on customer satisfaction – that’s what matters to us most and so to be rated in the top 10 per cent in the world, based on customer reviews is fantastic and a testament to our hard work.”

ORG opens its eighth restaurant tomorrow (October 1, 2025) with the addition of Noted in Bridge Street. It also runs Andrew’s flagship 3AA Rosette Restaurant 8 by Andrew Sheridan in Liverpool; Sow in rural Worcestershire; OXA in The Wirral; and Dishes in Prestatyn. Other sites include The Bracebridge in Sutton Coldfield; and Black & Green, and Cofton on the Green in Barnt Green, Worcestershire.
