British home appliance firm Gtech hopes 2024 will see a return to growth.

Founder Nick Grey, inventor of the cordless vacuum, says he’s optimistic for 2024 despite continuing uncertainty in the UK economy.

Worcester-based Gtech has several new products in the pipeline, which kicked off with the launch of the AirFOX Platinum last month (December).

The AirFOX Platinum is the company’s first new major product launch since 2021.

However, the roll-out of new products will continue this year, starting with an addition to Gtech’s floorcare range next month (February). There will also be a move into other product categories.

Nick says: “This is a very exciting time for Gtech with lots of new products on the horizon.

“In addition, we are also returning to high street retailers, increasing the availability of Gtech products to our customers.

“As always, we will continue to do the basics well – this is what Gtech is best known for – while increasing brand visibility and product lines.”

He added: “After a couple of tough years, I am feeling positive about the outlook for the year ahead, and for British business in general.”
