Key Workers in Oxfordshire can receive a deposit contribution of up to £15,000 towards a new home thanks to Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ latest offer.

The housebuilder has introduced the scheme at its Dida Gardens development in Didcot, alongside Kings Gate and Abbey Fields in Abingdon, and River Meadow in Stanford in the Vale.

Key Workers will be entitled to a deposit contribution of £750 for every £25,000 spent, and can receive up to the value of £15,000. So, for example, when purchasing a £265,995 home, Barratt and David Wilson Homes would contribute £7,980 towards the deposit.

Emma Hawkins, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “Our NHS Deposit Contribution scheme was launched for our invaluable NHS staff at the start of the pandemic as a thank you for their hard work, and we are very proud to continue lending a helping hand.

“We now want to open up this level of support to all of our Key Workers, and we are extremely proud to be able to introduce this offer at several of our Oxfordshire communities.”

Beyond the NHS, the Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme applies to numerous other sectors, including education, emergency services and environmental services.

David Wilson Homes is currently selling a variety of properties at Dida Gardens, River Meadow, Abbey Fields and Kings Gate.

Barratt Homes is also providing a range of three and four bedroom homes at Abbey Fields, off Bailey Crescent, with a variety of new homes coming soon to River Meadow.
