1/3 of UK eSports fans prefer Bitcoin over ETH

While eSports are becoming highly popular, so is the interest in cryptocurrencies as the digital currencies are vital to purchasing in-game items and wagering on games. At BanklessTimes.com we have looked at which cryptocurrencies are the most popular among eSports fans in the UK.

Here are our key findings:

Bitcoin (BTC) leads as the most popular cryptocurrency for eSports gamers in the UK with 6% preferring BTC over other cryptos
Monero (XMR) and Ethereum (ETH) top the preferred Altcoin list with 4% preferring these coins
According to a YouGov study the likelihood of e-gamers using crypto assets grew 21% YOY during the last year
