The original Evetta gets a sister: The world premiere of the “Evetta Openair” as a limited first edition was held in Rosdorf near Göttingen in July 2022.

ElectricBrands introduced the public to its latest models during an open day. Amongst the new models were the “Evetta Openair” and the “Evetta Cargo”. Both prototypes could be viewed in the future Evetta production hall in Rosdorf, Lower Saxony, Germany, and were available for test drives.

Martin Henne, CEO of ElectricBrands: “We are happy that we can already introduce two new versions of the Evetta. It is fun to continue developing this attractive and, at the same time, sustainable light vehicle. We are sure that our two new models will also find their fans, just like our original.”

Evetta Openair: Stylish, practical, sustainable

The “Evetta Openair” is a convertible version of the small light vehicle. It has a special feature as the soft top can be completely removed. The name Openair says it all and promises fans of fresh air lots of driving fun. And it is practical. Upon request, the convertible can be opened and started via an app – a key is thus a thing of the past.

Entering the “Evetta Openair” is the same as with the Original and typical for an Evetta – through the front door. Apart from this, the convertible is equipped with a larger 18-kWh battery as standard, which means further range. Depending on the driving mode, 30 per cent more capacity can be reached compared to the standard battery. With a range of 200 km and a top speed of 90 km/h, the vehicle is thus ideally suited for the city. The model “Evetta Openair First Edition” is limited to 999 units. Pre-orders can be made online at www.evetta.com/en or via one of the 800 dealers in Europe; delivery is planned for the middle of 2023.

Martin Henne says: “We are really proud of our Evetta. It is all-in-one: It looks good, is space-saving in the city, efficient and sustainable. Not only does it run on batteries, but it is designed so that individual parts can be replaced easily and without complications. In this way, we want to simplify the repair process. We envisage that the Evetta is driven not only in a sustainable way, but also to create a sustainable vehicle regarding its spare parts and recyclability. We are convinced that this concept makes the Evetta unique.”
