Alliance Asset Management Ltd and car subscription platform MyCarDirect Ltd today announces that David Murray-Hundley has joined the board of directors for the group as Chairman. AAM Group which owns MyCarDirect the 2nd largest Car Subscription platform in Europe decided at the start of 2022 to expand its horizons as a business for not just the UK but also the US market.

Colin Mather, COO of AAM Group, commented “David Murray-Hundley joins the company when its subscription and group operations are both profitable and cash positive. The automotive subscription products are the ideal solution when faced with doubts about the economy. David’s knowledge and experience will help ensure that the group continues to prosper through any turbulence; enhancing product offerings, improving back office process, and introducing new and diverse markets”

“ David Murray-Hundley has a real affection for this business and its people. A great job has been done by the shareholders, the board, and the team, even during the tough times of recent years. Pario Ventures took a stake in the holding group back in Jan 2022 and we soon saw the real potential this company has in expanding its car subscription side as well as maintaining that family feel of service for all its customers” commented Kevin Doyle, Pario Ventures.

David Murray-Hundley commented” I am looking to focus more on the products as a company, improve the back-end technologies and expand in our current market and the US market. Duncan Chumley has shown that Car Subscription can work in 2022 but also that as a business it can actually make money which is a rarity in this space. The next 3 years look challenging to say the least, but I very confident that the team will grow and find its way through the challenges presented”

Kevin Doyle is Co-founder of Pario Ventures alongside David Murray-Hundley. Pario Ventures is a venture capital firm who have invested in various sectors over the past years including a number of investments in Automotive across the world such as Rivian.
