A larger-than-life 4.5km display will light the night skies across the waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village in a spectacular farewell to 2023.

A magnificent firework display is set to return once again to Ras Al Khaimah and welcome 2024 with a bang this New Year’s Eve. Confirmed by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), and the Organising Committee of the Emirate’s New Year’s Eve celebration, the dazzling performance will wow visitors of all ages, as fireworks light up the sky with an eye-popping show and electrifying beats.
Stretching 4.5km of waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village, the display is set to be a jaw-dropping event as Ras Al Khaimah continues its legacy of organising breathtaking New Year’s Eve celebrations including breaking GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ for five consecutive years. This year, the fireworks show will offer dazzling new choreography elements and techniques that have never been done before and aims to smash new records. Residents and visitors can also expect two spectacular events from which to watch the fireworks. A public event with free access will offer DJ entertainment, dedicated kids’ activities, food trucks, and a section for bachelors and families. A private ticketed event under the theme “Soundfest” will have an international artist selection, a kids area, and a variety of F&B.
Leading up to the celebrations on December 31st, residents and tourists can enjoy the season with a host of festive family fun celebrations, from tree lighting ceremonies, and Christmas events to NYE gala dinners happening across the Emirate’s collection of hotels including the two Ritz-Carlton properties, the all-inclusive Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Intercontinental Mina Al Arab Resort, Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort, Longbeach Campground, and more. Overnight guests staying in hotels on Al Marjan Island during New Year’s Eve will find some of the best seats in the house to watch the magical fireworks display.
The New Year’s Eve Organising Committee is led by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority and comprising teams from Marjan, Ras Al Khaimah Police, Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office, Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, Public Works, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, Al Hamra, and others.
