NORTHAMPTONSHIRE HOMEBUILDER PUTS MANAGING DIRECTOR IN THE HOT SEAT

Northampton-based housebuilder David Wilson Homes South Midlands is putting its Managing Director in the hot seat after six months in the role.

Ben Kalus (44), originally from York, joined David Wilson Homes in October 2021 as an Operations Director, having previously worked in a number of senior roles within the retail industry.

Ben is now an ambassador for the leading developer, supporting the Divisional Directors to uphold the core principles of David Wilson Homes as a responsible housebuilder.

He said: “One of the things that attracted me to David Wilson Homes was my alignment to its values of putting customers first and treating colleagues with respect.

“The Managing Director’s role touches every element of construction, from land buying and planning to development design, site management, health and safety, sales, finance and customer care. However, I’m surrounded by incredibly talented people and it’s all about how I help everything come together so they can deliver at their best.

“My favourite part of the job is being out on site, seeing our developments take shape and talking to the teams that are making it happen.”
