Kate Kane Crowned Most Popular WAG Of Euros 2020, Data Reveals
Euro 2020’s England squad made history last night as they reached the final of the Euros for the first time ever!
But it’s not only the team that has the country talking, as the phrase “England WAGs” had a 30% increase in Google searches at the start of the Euros (June 11th) and now has had a search spike with a 70% increase since the start of the tournament!
Cosmetic surgery company Vera Clinic wanted to ascertain who was the most popular WAG, so looked into search volume data and Instagram followers to give each WAG an overall score and rank them from most to least popular.

Kate Kane comes in first place as the most popular WAG, with a whopping global search volume of 39,000. As the wife of last night’s man of the match – it’s hardly a surprise! Her instagram page @katekanex, where she regularly posts pictures of days out with friends, romantic dates with Harry Kane and adorable snaps of their two children, Ivy and Vivienne, has 170k followers.
Fern Hawkins comes in second place, with a global search volume of 13,000 and 52,000 instagram followers. Harry Maguire’s girlfriend often posts incredible holiday snaps and romantic couple selfies!
Paige Milian has the second highest Instagram followers on the list, but comes in third place due to her lower global search volume of 4,100. Raheem Sterling’s gorgeous fiance regularly posts pictures of their son Thiago.
