Victoria Beckham has been named the world’s most-loved Spice Girl on Twitter, a new study reveals following a global Twitter sentiment analysis.
The research, provided by SlotsOnlineCanada, shows that Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has seen the highest influx of positive Tweets over the past decade than any other member of the Spice Girls, which includes Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C.
The analysis involved pulling together Tweets that mentioned any Spice Girl over the last decade, and assigning a positivity sentiment score to each, to see who proved most popular.
Victoria Beckham, married to renowned footballer David Beckham, has seen fans flock to Twitter to praise her work over the last decade, including her designer brand, appearances at New York Fashion Week, and social appearances with her family.
On the other end of the scale, it’s Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell and Baby Space Emma Bunton who proved the most popular with Twitter fans over the last decade.

The research comes ahead of the iconic girl band’s upcoming 25th anniversary that celebrates the release of their debut album, which was released on 19 September 1996.
The anniversary has led Mel B to hint that a Spice Girls reunion is in motion, as she claimed she’d ‘make sure’ that the girls are back on stage in 2023.
As well as looking at the potential reunion and reception of iconic girl bands, such as the Spice Girls, the research also looked at fan appetite around potential TV show reunions.
Gayle Mitchell, Senior Editor at SlotsOnlineCanada commented on the findings, saying “We wanted to look into fan appetite around potential band reunions, TV show reunions or theoretical franchise team-ups, as it’s always a gamble as to whether or not fans want to see their favourite stars return or if they’d prefer them to have ended on a high.
“It’s interesting to see that the appetite is definitely there for upcoming band reunions, such as another Spice Girls tour, and also encouraging to see that general reception around each member is positive – even if Victoria Beckham has taken the top spot.”
The 25th anniversary of the Spice Girls’ debut album – Spice – falls on 19 September 2021.
