By 50 years of age, an estimated 85 per cent of men will have started going bald. With this being said many famous celebrities have undergone surgery and have well hid their baldness to prevent their fans from knowing. Hair transplant specialist Vera Clinic have researched famous celebrities who do not want you to know they are bald.

David Beckham

It became apparent that David Beckham began losing his hair back in 2010. Once he retired from football in 2013, he took the plunge and got a hair transplant. Now in 2022, it has been reported that David has shaved his head and revealed his hair has started thinning again during lockdown.

Gordon Ramsey

The famous chef is widely known for television shows Kitchen Nightmares, Hotel Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen and Master Chef. He was once seen leaving Alvi Armani in Beverly Hills USA wearing a black surgical cap and was expectedly given an FUE treatment. A Follicular Unit Extraction (FEU) uses small punctures to transplant follicles from all over your head to areas where your hair is thinning or bald. He now has a new hairline with improved follicles and an improved head of hair as a result.

Joe Swash is a well-known actor, presenter and engaged to Stacey Solomon. The star has opened up and revealed he had a hair transplant over 5 years ago. Joe underwent a hair transplant early in his career and admitted that before his first visit to a hair transplant clinic he felt as though he looked older than his age and wanted to look his best.

The star had a FUT which is a hair transplant procedure where a narrow strip of hair is taken from the back of the scalp and the hair transplant grafts are then individually dissected and placed in areas of balding.

Famous comedian Jimmy Carr had his FUE hair transplant, veneers and botox at the very beginning of the lock-down period. Before the treatment, Jimmy’s hairline began to recede however now the hair looks noticeably thicker and more natural.

The British racing driver puts this down to using hotel soap as shampoo and generally just not looking after his hair when he was younger. But the champion denied getting a hair transplant operation and explained he suddenly got his hair back simply by ‘self-caring’.
