Sophie Morgan Rides from the UK to US to Mark 20 Year Life-Day Anniversary
On August 18th 2003, Sophie was in a car crash which instantly paralysed her from the chest down. 20 years on, Sophie will be fulfilling her lifelong dream of riding from London to LA.
She will commence the epic journey on 1st August riding from her home to Heathrow. Upon landing in DC she will ride across the US, arriving into LA on the 18th (which as she refers to it, will be her life-day anniversary).
The route will take Sophie through a number of iconic places such as the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, The Avenue of Giants, Napa, Yosemite and more.
Sophie is doing this alone to challenge herself and to celebrate life.
