Saudi Minister of Health Inaugurates ‘NPHIES’ Platform at Global Health Exhibition

During Global Health Exhibition 2023, the Saudi Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajil on Sunday 29th October launched the “NPHIES” platform with the participation of Investment and Industry and Mineral Ministers and Digital Government Authority officials.

During Global Health Exhibition 2023 program, the Saudi Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajil on Sunday 29th October launched the “NPHIES” platform with the participation of Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Ministr of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, and in the presence of Ahmed Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan governor of the Saudi Digital Government Authority.

The “Nafees” platform aims to provide health information to beneficiaries and share their health-related data with healthcare service providers.

The platform represents a qualitative leap in the healthcare sector and is part of Saudi Vision 2030 projects. It serves as a sharing health information platform among service providers and allows the creation of a unified and comprehensive health file for beneficiaries, contributing to the quality of healthcare services and enabling healthcare practitioners to make better medical decisions.

The Saudi Minister of Health stated that the Saudi government’s support has contributed to improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare services. He also emphasized the Ministry of Health’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services through various projects, initiatives, and digital solutions in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership.

The Ministry of Health launched the “Nafees” platform in collaboration with the Council of Health Insurance, the Saudi Health Council, and the National Health Information Center. The platform’s main objective is to facilitate the exchange of private health information for beneficiaries and to share data.
