Warwickshire housebuilder Barratt Homes recently invited the Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth – at the time of the event – to the launch of a range of new properties at its development, Saxon View.

Following the eagerly-anticipated launch of the new homes on Queen Elizabeth Road, the leading developer welcomed Cllr Jeff Clarke, alongside Alistair McIntosh, for a tour of the new community under construction.

They were greeted onsite by Barratt Homes’ Managing Director, Dominic Harman, and Technical Director, Paul Smith, before being given a guided walk around the new homes being built in Nuneaton.

Cllr Jeff Clarke said: “It was really pleasing to see all the growth and positive development that has taken place. The area appears to have taken on a new lease of life and offers great facilities and open space to local residents who are keen to move into Saxon View.

“I am sure the area will offer great homes for residents for many years to come. I will of course keep a close interest on seeing its completion.”

As part of the visit, Cllr Clarke was given a tour of the show homes at the development, before taking a walk of the construction site to view the properties being built first-hand.

On the exciting regeneration scheme in Nuneaton, Saxon View marks the final phase of the Camp Hill development and features 139 homes.

In 2010, Barratt Homes joined a range of other organisations in the Camp Hill Regeneration Scheme to help transform the former mining town into a thriving, sustainable community.

In doing so, the leading development has made significant investment in the town and created a large number of jobs for local people, including 278 employment opportunities on the current phase.

Steve Barton, Senior Sales Manager at Barratt Homes Mercia, said: “The regeneration scheme at Camp Hill has been a fantastic project to be a part of right from the very beginning, and we are thrilled to be able to contribute a range of homes and jobs for local residents.

“The community here is now well-established, and we were pleased to welcome Cllr Clarke and Alistair to the development to showcase the progress we’ve made.”

At Saxon View, the vibrant town centre is just two miles away, with a great choice of shops, restaurants and family activities. Whittleford Park and Hartshill Hayes are perfect for dog walking or scenic bike rides.

Commuters can reach the Capital in an hour with direct services available to London Euston Station.

Saxon View currently has a selection of three and four bedroom properties available with prices starting from £260,000.
