Warwickshire housebuilder Barratt Homes has recently welcomed Member of Parliament for Nuneaton, Marcus Jones, to its St James’ Gate development for a tour with its award-winning team in Weddington.

The leading homebuilder invited the constituency MP to visit its development on Topiary Road and go behind the scenes alongside Managing Director at Barratt Homes, Mark Cotes, and Barratt Homes Site Manager, Jamie Allen.

During his visit, Marcus was able to meet with Jamie who is overseeing the construction at St James’ Gate, which is close to completion.

Marcus Jones MP said: “It is important that I visit new developments in the Nuneaton Constituency. I am grateful to Barratt Homes for welcoming me to St James’ Gate. They are clearly building a range of housing there and it is welcome that they are making significant financial contributions towards local education, travel infrastructure and a community park.”

St James’ Gate has been well-received by homebuyers since it initially launched in April 2017, and the community has fast become a sought-after setting for house hunters.

As part of the development’s planning agreement, more than £1.7 million was invested in the surrounding areas, which included £1.1 million towards education facilities, £200,000 towards cycle infrastructure and almost £150,000 towards a community park.

Whilst being able to see the construction in progress at St James’ Gate first-hand, Marcus was also given a tour of the furnished show homes at the development with Barratt Homes Sales Manager, Matthew Elsegood and Barratt Homes Sales Adviser, Simon Grice.

The range of homes available at the development includes a selection of three and four bedroom properties, ideal for a variety of prospective purchasers in Nuneaton. Just 13 properties remain available to reserve at the development, which means it’s the last chance to buy for Nuneaton property seekers.

Mark Cotes, Managing Director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said: “We were delighted to welcome Marcus onto the site and discuss our fantastic St James’ Gate development. It was great to give him an opportunity to view the ongoing works and showcase the progress of the community.”
Bordering open countryside, the development offers residents the best of both worlds in a fantastic rural location that’s in close proximity to an array of local amenities.

Now in its latter stages, St James’ Gate has a selection of four bedroom properties available with prices starting from £319,995.
