New business podcast hits 50,000 audience
After 12 years of the popular Business Excellence conference, BizX, the founders wanted to make what the conference delegates have described as incredibly valuable learnings from world-class speakers more widely available to business owners and entrepreneurs. So, The Business Excellence podcast was launched in May with high-performance coach James Vincent interviewing experts from the world of sales, marketing, mindset, wellbeing and so much more needed to secure growth for any business.
Through engaging and insightful discussions, the podcast equips listeners with the essential tools and knowledge needed to enhance their capabilities and evolve into the businessperson they want to become. This approach has proved immensely popular with the business community as this is one of the fastest-growing business podcasts in the UK without a celebrity host. Stacking up an audience of over 50,000 across podcast platforms such as Spotify and Apple, the podcast is also professionally filmed so that people can also watch them via The Business Excellence YouTube channel.
Hosting the new podcast is James Vincent, the Performance Director at ActionCOACH UK, bringing a wealth of experience in high-performance coaching which spans over two decades in both sport and business. James has an impressive track record, having coached three Team GB athletes into the top 5 in the world in their sports, with one of his client’s making history by becoming Great Britain’s first-ever medallist in men’s Badminton at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Key to the podcast’s popularity has been a roster of impressive guests who have been happy to share their valuable wisdoms. These include, Jhumar Johnson, the Chief of Staff at the Open University discussing the art of making those around you feel good, George Lineker and Sebastian Lewis, the co-founders of YourBusinessNumber on revolutionising your communications and Jennifer Gitomer, who went from the corporate world to building a six-figure coaching business. Her episode explores what it takes to unlock a successful mindset, materialising your goals and defying any limiting beliefs.
“We’ve really been able to deep-dive into the minds of some incredible businesspeople,” said James. “It’s been an eye-opening experience to uncover what makes these people tick and how they’ve not just been successful in business but their personal lives too. I really would recommend giving our podcast a listen because I guarantee you’ll come away from each episode learning something with a new perspective on the world of business.”
Speaking of excellence, the insights from the podcast will come to life at the BizX conference in Liverpool next year. The conference will be held at the ACC Liverpool across the 18-19th April 2024. It’s not solely about business growth strategies as the event will be packed with chances to network, enjoy some great food and entertainment, and of course, the annual BixZ award ceremony.
Managing Director of ActionCOACH UK, Julie Wagstaff shares her excitement about BizX 2024, “We’re going into our 13th year of BizX and every year it keeps getting bigger and bigger! Our goal has always been to deliver an event that produces oven-ready guidance for business owners around the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and beyond. If you look at some of the speakers we’ve had in the past and have scheduled for this year, we believe we are helping so many to transform their business for themselves and the people around them.”
This year’s line up of speakers include former Dragon’s Den investor Piers Linney, bestselling author and business owner, Donald Miller, the CEO of marketing company StoryBrand and the world’s number 1 business coach, Brad Sugars. The calibre of guests doesn’t stop there as BizX will be revealing even more fantastic speakers over the coming months.
At the heart of the conference is BizX’s prestigious awards ceremony, which shines a light on the achievements of businesses across the EMEA region. The exciting news is that entries for the awards are now open, with plenty of time to submit your entries by Friday 1st March 2024. These awards are open to all businesses, not just those engaging an Action Coach. Any business eager to take part can find all the details about the awards, including the various categories you can apply for here.
But business owners needn’t wait for next year’s conference for further inspiration and expert perspectives, they can tune into The Business Excellence Podcast, with the latest guest Martin Lewis, talking about setting up his own business immediately after graduating.
