Music for Dementia: Keep Singing

Care England, the largest representative body for independent providers of adult social care, is pleased to support Keeping Singing in Tune with COVID Restrictions.

Professor Martin Green, Chief Executive of Care England, says:

“In amongst so much uncertainty we know for sure that singing and music are really important to people’s wellbeing. Keeping Singing in Tune with COVID-19 Restrictions will help care homes to be able to continue to bring the joy of singing and music to their residents”.

The leaflet draws together current guidance, research and safe practice consideration and resources to help keep singing and music as part of life. It includes suggested principles of safer singing with Public Health England guidance.
