To celebrate the launch of their new diamond collection and the imminent release of Love is Blind Season 2 on 11th February, Hatton Jewellers have carried out research looking into the most successful dating shows for finding lasting love.

The TV dating industry is jam-packed with new dating ideas, with an array of fresh concepts and new couples taking over our screens. From dating behind a wall, sitting down in a restaurant filled with people on blind dates or heading to a villa abroad with a group of singletons, there are so many new ways to meet your true love – Hatton Jewellers reveals which is the most successful.

Season 1 of the whirlwind romance show, Love is Blind, was a true hit with the nation. The experiment saw couples meet behind walls, bonding and deciding whether to propose before they had even met. The show is top of the charts for the most successful dating show with 33% of contestants getting married off the back of the show. Couples, Lauren and Cameron and Amber and Matt have stood the test of time, still remaining happily married today!

Married at First Sight is another favourite among reality show lovers! With seasons aired in the UK, US and Australia, it has been revealed that the US Married at First Sight is the most successful of the three with 29% of the couples still together today — that’s a total of 28 people who are engaged off the back of the show!

Love Island is the yearly phenomenon that takes over our TV screens every summer. Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey and Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen are just a few of the much loved couples that have become engaged after meeting on the show. However, due to the dramas and many failed relationships after returning to the real world, Love Island was second to last in the rankings with only 4% of contestants getting engaged and staying together after the show ended.

5 Top Tips For Choosing The Perfect Engagement Ring

Hatton Jewellers have compiled their top tips for finding the perfect engagement ring that our reality TV stars would be proud of.

Get The Shape Right – Knowing the diamond shape your partner is looking for in an engagement ring is sure to help you in your search.
Choose The Setting – An engagement ring setting is the way that gemstones or diamonds are set into a metal band. Different types of ring settings can emphasise the natural beauty of the diamond in different ways.
The Perfect Fit – You can secretly find out your partner’s ring size by borrowing one of their rings or asking a friend.
The Stone – While diamonds are the most traditional stone when it comes to an engagement ring, there are several other options on the market that can create an engagement ring just as sparkling and beautiful.
Going For Gold (or Platinum) – Traditionally, engagement rings are made from yellow gold, white gold, or platinum. However, rose gold has made more of an appearance in recent years, creating a modern stylish ring perfect for those trend-setters.
