Leeds-Based HubSpot Inbound Agency 6teen30 Continues European Expansion with Acquisition

6teen30 Digital, the Leeds-based inbound agency which opened its first US office in October 2021, has continued its international expansion with the acquisition of Dutch agency, Shock Inbound.

Shock’s Eindhoven HQ will now become 6teen30’s first office in the Netherlands, with Shock founder and respected marketer Marije Schreur taking up a new role as 6teen30’s Vice President of Growth for Europe. It is the third outpost for 6teen30 Digital, which has its UK base of operations at Nexus in the University of Leeds and USA headquarters in Baltimore, MD. To cater for the European expansion, a new European HQ in Cork, Ireland will open later this year,

Founded in 2018, Shock Inbound is a Hubspot Gold Partner. Its client roster includes names such as Great Place to Work, Primaned and Safran. It is known for helping top SaaS and service based organisations to evolve into 21st century success stories.

6teen30 Digital CEO Mike Midgley said, “We are delighted to begin 2022 with another acquisition to further cement 6teen30 as a global agency. We have worked closely with Marije and the Shock Inbound team since 2019 and are confident that they are a great fit. This will allow us to rapidly scale up our presence and better serve clients across the Benelux and wider DACH and European markets.

“Marije is a very talented marketer and I’m looking forward to starting this next chapter of 6teen30 growth together.”

Marije Schreur said, “Having worked closely with 6teen30 for the last two and a half years, it’s very clear to me that we have similar processes, mindsets and cultures. 6teen30’s location in the USA allows us to grow our international presence. I have a lot of international ambitions and with our bases in the UK, Europe and USA, we have a very strong foundation to deliver even more for our international clients, especially those clients looking to expand across borders themselves.

“I am very excited to get started. My priority is to really immerse myself at a strategic level and get to work on growing the company in Europe. I’ll also be doing more public speaking with podcasts and events, in addition to being very focused on international sales.”
