On Tuesday 13th December 2022, independent charitable hospital King Edward VII, are hosting a Christmas carol concert at St Marylebone Parish Church with all proceeds going to the hospital’s ground-breaking Pain Management Programme, as well as grants for medical care for service men and women.

The evening will include Christmas carols, readings, and music, with distinguished guests such as actors Sir Derek Jacobi CBE and Victoria Smurfit, and veterans who have benefited from the hospital’s veteran support package.

The Pain Management Programme and Military Grants are testament to King Edward VII’s ongoing focus on veteran care. In fact, for 123 years King Edward VII’s Hospital has been supporting members of the Armed Forces through subsidies for life changing medical treatment and access to their free Pain Management Programme.

Director of Philanthropy & Veterans’ Health, Alex Le Vey, comments: “We are committed to supporting Veterans from all walks of life, regardless of their background or service history.

“Coming together and raising funds at our carol concert will help us to continue our work in the space, and to strive towards our target of supporting double the number of veterans we support by 2023.”

Caroline Beazley, Pain Management Programme attendee, adds: “This fantastic programme taught me how to manage my pain, and helped me to start living my life again. Please help support other veterans this Christmas, so they too can have the wonderful opportunity I had and help them enjoy this special time of year.”
