KEY WORKERS TO BENEFIT FROM DEPOSIT BOOST BY LEICESTERSHIRE HOMEBUILDER
Key workers in Leicestershire can receive a deposit contribution of up to £15,000 for their new home thanks to David Wilson Homes’ latest offer at Wigston Meadows in Wigston.
The homebuilder has introduced the scheme, available for a limited time, at the Newton Lane community in an effort to say thank you to key workers for their tremendous contribution to society throughout the pandemic.
Key workers will be entitled to a deposit contribution of £750 for every £25,000 spent, and can receive up to the value of £15,000. For example, if homebuyers were to purchase a £350,000 home, David Wilson Homes would contribute £10,500 towards their deposit.
Rachael Harrison, Sales Director of David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: “Our NHS deposit contribution scheme was launched for our invaluable NHS staff at the start of the pandemic, as a thank you for their hard work, and we are very proud to continue lending a helping hand.
“The scheme has already helped over 1,000 NHS workers to buy their own homes, saving them more than £10m in the process. We now want to show this level of support to all of our key workers, and we are extremely proud to be able to introduce this offer.”
Beyond the NHS, the Key Worker Deposit Contribution offer also applies to numerous other sectors, including education, emergency services and environmental services.
The scheme is available on the three storey Kennett style home, which offers three double bedrooms and includes an impressive main bedroom on the top floor, featuring an en-suite and room for a dressing area.
David Wilson Homes currently has three and four bedroom homes available at Wigston Meadows, priced from £335,995.
