Manchester based indie/electronic duo Demons of Ruby Mae have released a live piano version of the openeing track to their new album ‘What Goes Unseen’ (out now). ‘I’ll Meet you There’ (Piano Session) is available now. Watch it here.
Lead singer Jonny Gavin describes ‘I’ll Meet You There’: “It’s a song about running away somewhere with someone, to a place that only you and them know, where you always go to get away from it all.”
The album’s first single ‘Brooklyn’ was described by Clash Magazine as having a “widescreen, lovelorn sense of romanticism.”
Channeling bands like Editors and The National, Demons of Ruby Mae continue to garner fantastic support from the likes of BBC Introducing, 6 Music, XS Manchester and Radio Wales.
The duo’s next live show is an album launch show in their adopted city of Manchester, celebrating with a ltd release of the album on vinyl.
