Inc & Co has today announced its 15th acquisition as it reached the 2-year milestone since being founded by Jack Mason and Dave Antrobus in July 2019.

The acquisition of domestic logistics provider Caribou sees the 550 strong company join the already growing list of acquisitions by Inc & Co in recent months, bringing the group total headcount to 750. Caribou, headquartered in Hyde and an office in Manchester city centre, has 16 depots across the UK.

With Inc & Co’s recent move into the retail arena earlier this year, Caribou and its UK wide logistics network is a natural synergy for the group’s retail arm which already processes orders for 120,000 customers each year for its luxury accessories brand KNOMO and on-demand laundry provider, Laundrapp.

Jack Mason, Group CEO of Inc & Co, said, “The acquisition of Caribou has come at just the right time as we begin to expand our retail arm. Since being founded in 2019, we have grown our portfolio of companies within the group so that they all have cross-company synergies, which is important for us when strategising on future acquisitions. Later this month we will be sharing news on our Groups’ annual performance, and our strategic vision for the future.”

Caribou, founded in 2018, has created its proprietary software that enables customers to track deliveries and get updates on the move. Caribou has 16 depots located across the U.K and has seen strong growth despite tough marketing conditions and will soon be announcing overseas and network updates in the coming weeks.

Daryl Dylan, Managing Director of Caribou, said, “We’re delighted to be joining Inc & Co and having the expertise and experience of their expansive team to take us to the next level of growth. We have grown considerably over this past year, and we’re looking forward to having the opportunity to improve our processes and recruitment as we enter the next phase of our journey in the logistics industry.”

As part of the acquisition, Rob Abbott will be promoted to Interim Operations Director.
