Ian Cullen joins Sirius Buying Group

Sirius Buying Group, leading buying group in the electrical appliance and kitchen retail sectors, is thrilled to announce further expansion with the appointment of Ian Cullen, who joins the team on 22nd April 2025, as National Business Development and Member Support Manager.

With a wealth of experience in the electrical retail industry, Ian has built a respected career from the shop floor to national account leadership. He began by making a strong impression at a leading independent retailer before moving on to high-profile roles with major suppliers, including Glen Dimplex and Liebherr. His hands-on knowledge of the retail landscape, combined with his strategic insight from the supplier side, gives him a unique and valuable perspective.

In his role at Sirius Buying Group, Ian will be dedicated to working closely with existing Sirius Members, helping them unlock the full potential of their membership and ensuring they benefit from all the tools, services, and support that Sirius has to offer. Ian is also ideally positioned to support the Group’s growth and will play a key part in recruiting new Members, using his industry insight and network to identify opportunities and communicate the value of joining the Group.

Working primarily alongside Darren Scott and Marion Morton, Ian is keen to hit the ground running and provide invaluable support to existing Members and Suppliers to the group, in addition to recruiting and onboarding new approved retailers as the company continues to expand and grow its commercial reach.

The appointment of Ian Cullen, shortly follows a series of organisational changes at Sirius to streamline operations and accommodate growth. Mark Veysey is now Operations Director with Marion Morton promoted to Commercial Director. Darren Scott is now Head of Membership Development with Joe Howes now Head of Data & Marketing, and Natalie Morris as Administration & MDA Account Manager.
