I-Feeder Technologies have signed a dealership agreement with Canadian irrigation company I Beam Irrigation as they expand their offering in the region. Based in Taber, Alberta, I Beam Irrigation offer a one stop solution for the application of water and nutrients. With over 30 years of experience in farming and irrigation, I Beam Irrigation will now be selling I-Feeder Technologies products (fertigation and chemigation dosing systems) as part of their complete irrigation service offering.

I Beam Irrigation will be selling I-Feeder Technologies’ systems to the agricultural industry in Alberta, Canada to better utilize existing irrigations systems. These plant nutrition systems help reduce input cost, labor time and increase yields. Open field farms within the region include sugar beets, potatoes, canola, corn, wheat, oats, beans, onions, corn, flax/barley, peas and hemp, with the farming industry having grown massively over the past ten years.

Founded in South Africa in 1981, I-Feeder Technologies has reshaped the fertigation industry, transforming from just a hardware company to now offering automated fertigation, chemigation, precision software and associated technologies. Unlike other offerings in the market, I-Feeder supports the product with office locations based around the world, making them more than a dealer network. The company is an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and have full control in quality assurance and flexibility in their product offering.

I-Feeder Technologies also provides a bespoke white-labelling offering to various irrigation component manufacturers, allowing them to integrate not only into the hardware of these partners, but also the fertilization software. I-Feeder Technologies is part of Yellow Brick Capital’s YB AgTech Group, affording the hardware greater capabilities, working alongside other technologies and software including Smart Fertilizer fertilization software.

Johan van Zyl, CEO at I-Feeder Technologies commented: “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Canadian based I Beam Irrigation. The company have had a strong presence in the agricultural market for over 30 years and we look forward to working with them to provide farmers and growers in Alberta with I-Feeder Technologies systems and service. Together we will be reaching new markets, helping to evolve the way in which farmers grow their crops.”
