How to host Halloween parties whilst saving money:

Make some pumpkin slime
Slime is really easy to make and serves as a fun activity for Halloween parties. Use the leftover stringy pumpkin guts and seeds after carving and mix together with some clear glue and liquid starch. Next just knead the slime and add more liquid starch to get a nice consistency as desired.

Eerie sweet platters
An easy and cheap way to create a spooky evening is to craft Halloween sweetie platters. There are lots of yummy sweet treats with a creepy theme, and they all taste delicious too! Spread out the sweets on a big serving plate for guests to enjoy throughout the night.

Sweet table displays
Go one step further than sweet platters and create a whole sweet-Halloween themed table. It’s a really great idea to bulk buy these sweets for a budget friendly party. Use a decorative table cloth and cover in Halloween sweets, chocolates and treats for a yummy party snack. These sweets serve as fab spooky displays by themselves as well.

DIY costumes
Halloween costumes do not need to be expensive this year and household items can make fun and traditional outfits without breaking the bank. Become a witch with a bin bag and a broom, or a ghost with an old white sheet marked with black pen to make the face.
