Grateful Dead link up with eyewear brand AKILA to release their first-ever collection of sunglasses

Grateful Dead are linking up with LA eyewear brand AKILA to release their first-ever collection of sunglasses. The Grateful Dead × AKILA collection features two sets of sunglasses inspired by the band’s iconic style and imagery.

Apollo: AKILA’s signature frame adorned with the Dead’s marching bears on each temple.

Begonia: A throwback aviator that OG Dead Heads will recognize, finished with gradient lenses in 3 different colorways.

Each pair comes with customized packaging and lens cloth featuring the legendary Bertha and Dancing Bears artworks. The collection will be released online at Akila and at select retailers on Monday, July 26th at 11am PST.
