GBNews announce line up for General Election night coverage.
GBNEWS will deliver a General Election Night extravaganza – via a series of special shows featuring all of its presenters and the very best political commentators.
As polling day looms, it can be announced that Camilla Tominey and Stephen Dixon will anchor a special live results programme on GBNews starting at 9.55pm on July 4.
They’ll be joined by Patrick Christys and Michelle Dewberry, who will host a GBNews Election Night Watch Party from a club in Essex.
The party will be attended by guests from politics and entertainment as well GBNews’ viewers and members who will give their live reaction as votes start to come in.
Political Editor Christopher Hope will dissect every twist and turn, explaining what they mean to our viewers
Meanwhile, in regions across the UK, GB News’ team of presenters and reporters will broadcast live from polling stations ensuring viewers and listeners get the key results right as they happen.
GBNews presenter and former Labour MP Gloria De Piero will give her reaction as the results come in.
Then, when people wake up on July 5, Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster will take over from 6am to host a very special breakfast show, Vote 2024: The People Decide With Eamonn and Isabel.
After that, at 9.30am, Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce will continue the analysis with Vote 2024: The People Decide with Andrew and Bev.
GBNews presenters Ellie Costello, Emily Carver, Nana Akua, Mark Dolan, Ben Leo, Dawn Neesom, Michael Portillo and Martin Daubney complete an all-star team bringing the very best coverage on what’s shaping up to be an historic election.
They will be joined by a string of top political guests to provide in-depth analysis to GBNews’ listeners and viewers.
Panellists – who will be part of GBNews coverage – will include political heavyweights Kwasi Kwarteng, Sir Brandon Lewis, Luciana Berger, James Heappey; Margaret Hodge; Sir Graham Brady; Geoff Hoon; Alastair Stewart; Arlene Foster and George Eustice. Also part of the team will be Craig Mackinlay, the former Tory MP who recently told GBNews how a battle with sepsis had led to him losing his hands and feet.
As those experts react, GBNews presenter Tom Harwood will crunch the numbers as they come in on a special video wall while leading pollster Professor Matthew Goodwin will also be on hand to assess the results as they come in.
GB News Editorial Director Mick Booker said: “As Britain’s Election Channel, we are planning the very best coverage for what will be the country’s biggest night of the year. We will be broadcasting the results live throughout the night as they happen and the reaction of GB News viewers as the votes come in is going to be integral to that.
“Viewers and listeners can also expect some surprise guests and fun and games at our election party as the people decide on who will govern our country from July 5.”
