Festival in Bradford city centre

Today (20 August) is the final day of BD: Festival 2022 which has been taking place in Bradford city centre this weekend (Friday 19 and Saturday 20 August).

Formerly the Bradford Festival, the event has been re-imagined to showcase the wealth of artistic talent across the Bradford district, recently named City of Culture 2025, alongside national and international performance artists and featured magical outdoor theatre, dance, poetry, art and traditional fairground rides.

BD: Festival is produced by Bradford Council and demonstrates the growing ambition set out in Culture is Our Plan, the district’s 10-year culture strategy, as Bradford works towards City of Culture 2025.

BD: Festival featured a diverse line-up of artists and provided a welcoming space for all, suitable for families and children of all ages, with a raft of free and ticketed performances.
