DIGITAL AGENCY IMPRESSION LAUNCHES STRATEGY SERVICE WITH RAFT OF SENIOR HIRES
Nottingham and London based digital marketing agency Impression has launched its new digital strategy service with the additional appointment of three senior hires.
The launch of its strategy department follows Impression’s increasing number of multi-channel clients. The strategy team will operate centrally alongside the agency’s client service team and delivery teams to help solve complex client challenges and to provide strategic support. It will be managed by new head of digital strategy George Gangar, formerly senior manager of digital strategy at Merkle. Prior to joining Impression, George led the digital strategy for a range of clients including Legal & General and Diageo brands Johnnie Walker and Guinness.
Zoë Ogden joins the agency as its head of people having previously worked in similar roles at Mars and UNiDAYS. With over 10 years of experience in HR, Zoë has a particular focus on learning and development and diversity and inclusion and will play a key part in Impression’s impact strategy and future growth.
Marie Attenborough joins as head of finance, bringing with her over 25 years of experience. Prior to Impression, Marie was head of finance at Nottingham-based retail IT support and solutions provider Retail Assist.
Speaking of the launch of the strategy department, George Gangar, head of digital strategy at Impression says:
“Having been lucky enough to be part of the development of a strategy and planning team at my previous agency, I’m looking forward to applying my experience and skills to developing Impression’s strategy offering in my new role.
Impression has strong growth ambitions for both itself and its clients and the agency is committed to achieving these ambitions in a way that has a positive impact on society and the environment. These factors played a big part in my decision to join the team.
The industry recognition that the Impression team has been achieving speaks for itself and I’m excited to have the opportunity to add another layer of services to an already high-performing agency. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for the department and our clients!”
Earlier this year, a new head of client success and head of paid media were also appointed by the agency. Senior hires have been brought in to support Impression’s next phase of growth which includes service expansion and strengthening current offerings.
Impression reports that it’s on track to achieve a 60% YoY growth target.
