CoinGate Partners with Wix Enabling Businesses To Accept Crypto Payments
CoinGate, a prominent crypto payment gateway in Europe, today announced an integration with Wix.com Ltd. (Nasdaq: WIX), a leading global SaaS platform to create, manage, and grow an online presence enabling Wix merchants to accept crypto payments from their customers in Germany, Lithuania, Spain and the Netherlands.
As a result of this partnership, Wix merchants in Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands and Spain can connect their online stores to the CoinGate payment solution. Upon setting up Coingate as a payment provider, Wix merchants can offer their customers the option to pay for goods and services using Bitcoin (including payments via Lightning Network) and 70+ other crypto options. Merchants can exchange and withdraw all collected cryptocurrencies in a single currency, such as EUR, USD, GBP, BTC, and others.
Justas Paulius, the CEO of CoinGate, believes this partnership will encourage more merchants to take advantage of cryptocurrency markets by accommodating more customers worldwide who only shop using cryptocurrencies or don’t have access to banking and credit cards.
