TOP STAINS THAT JOE & JILL NEED TO BIDE(N) THEIR TIME WITH

Burger sauce/Ketchup
We know former President Donald Trump was a huge fan of burgers. But that pesky fast-food treat can play havoc with you soft furnishings. It may be a common household stain, but sauce spillages need to be treated as soon as possible. Carefully clear any excess debris from the area, being sure not to spread the mark. Gently rub some washing-up liquid into the affected fabric, before rinsing with cold water.

Coffee
Being the president of the United States is considered one of the hardest jobs in the world, where working hours are 24/7, so caffeine is a necessity to stay alert. With the world on your shoulders, a coffee spillage may not seem a big deal, however they can last for several presidential terms if you don’t tackle them quickly. Treat the stain as fast as possible by flushing it with cold water, then dab with a stain remover.

Make-up

With the many state dinners, parties and VIPs that have been hosted at the White House it’s inevitable that Melania’s glam team have created accidental spills throughout the home. These may be relatively new stains or ones that have been there since Hilary Clinton times. If the stain is relatively fresh a trusty baby/make-up remover wipe may eliminate the problem. However, if it has smeared into the carpet or furnishings, you’ll need to tackle it with a specific stain remover and keep scrubbing! Dr. Beckmann’s Carpet Stain Remover is great to have in the cupboard ready and waiting.

Hair dye

At the ripe age of 74, it’s unlikely that Donald Trump’s sandy blonde locks are au natural, so hair dye may be a necessary product in his bathroom cupboard. Hair dyes or coloured hair sprays can leave behind very stubborn stains. Rub alcohol or a solution of vinegar and detergent into the stain and then leave to soak and cross your fingers.

Diet Coke
As the former President Donald Trump and First Lady famously enjoyed sipping on a Diet Coke, there may have been some spillages from time to time. If you have similar stains in your home, make sure you blot the spilled drink with a cloth until the liquid is absorbed, then sponge with cold water.

Ink

The ‘pen is mightier than the sword’ is a saying that runs true in homes worldwide, an ink stain is notoriously difficult to remove, but not impossible. Especially true for Joe Biden as he’s so many executive orders to sign. Make sure to treat the pen stain immediately by soaking it with a damp cloth and applying a specific stain remover for pen and ink.

Fruit Juice

As the previous president is known to be tee-total, fruit juice is bound to be rife in The White House fridge. When spilled, fruit juice goes sticky very quickly and can stain. Treat dried-in fruit and drink stains with a targeted stain remover – Dr. Beckmann’s Stain Devils Fruit & Drink will do the trick!

Fake tan
With holidays being put on pause and travel restrictions in place, fake tan sales will be on the increase. Bedding plastered with fake tan blemishes, however, can be treated relatively easily. Place your bedding on a 60º wash (make sure to check the care label) and watch as the washing machine works its magic. If your sheets are white, then try Dr. Beckmann’s infamous laundry whitener Glowhite ULTRA to bring them back to life – as new!
