Celebrity engagements: Get the Lohan look, ethically sourced

Lindsay Lohan was in the news recently for celebrating her engagement to Bader Shammas, and you could recreate the look thanks to ethical jeweller Ingle & Rhode.

Ingle & Rhode’s gems are all mined, cut and polished by adults working with fair pay and conditions and produced with due care for the environment. It sources Canadian diamonds which are traceable back to their mine of origin.

In 2003, 52 governments ratified the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme to eliminate the trade in conflict diamonds in Africa. It has helped, but not eradicated the problem, and diamonds produced in conflict zones are still being smuggled to neighbouring regions for certification.

So as well as being Kimberley-certified, Ingle & Rhode ensures its stones are conflict-free by only using gems that can be traced back to source.

1 – Lindsay Lohan –
Announced a proposal with fiance Bader Shammas in November 2021. The ring was a custom-made Harry Winston square-cut diamond.
