Celebrate International Coffee Day with Capilungo – Free Pasticciotto With Every Cappuccino

To celebrate International Coffee Day (1 October 2024), Capilungo will be giving a free Pasticciotto with every cappuccino ordered before 11am – the unofficial cut-off time in Italy to enjoy the signature breakfast coffee.

Capilungo is a one-of-a-kind Italian café and bakery in the heart of Covent Garden and a homage to all things Puglia, by way of the picturesque city of Lecce. A family business founded by Lucca Capilungo in 1991, the bakery specialises in bringing delights and delicacies found along the winding streets of southern Italy to Londoners and visitors to the capital.

With a firm focus on provenance, seasonality, and creating authentic food and drink with wonderful ingredients, Capilungo’s signature bake is the Pasticciotto. A speciality to the Puglia region and what the Capilungo family are most famous for in Italy. A moreish treat; Pasticcittos are a shortcrust pastry filled with an indulgent flavoured cream available in classic custard cream, Amarena cherry, pistachio or chocolate. Best eaten fresh and at breakfast time.
