Business giving the Notts leisure and hospitality industry a boost
A new Nottingham founded mobile ordering and booking app is inviting hospitality industry to join its growing list of venues on a 0% commission deal.
Group booking app Groubook has launched the deal to support the local hospitality and leisure sector as they rebuild after the pandemic.
Groubook launched before the first lockdown. The team had to put plans on hold due to Covid but are now back bigger and better than ever.
They are introducing a 0% commission model to merchants for at least six months, offering convenience to users and merchants, all on one platform.
The app also allows businesses to plan and generate exclusive offers for customers using the app, letting them bag a brilliant deal.
Groubook also interacts with most current tablet EPOS and POS systems, allowing venues and merchants to receive and deliver on orders made by customers.
To cut down on wait times for money, an instantaneous payment process is in place, putting money made through Groubook straight into the merchant’s bank accounts.
Customers can use Groubook to take advantage of offers and see where has availability nearby.
The app lets revellers, foodies and foodies book tables, order food, make payments electronically, split bills, pre-book activities and arrange fun times from their phones.
It means no joining long queues to get into a club, always securing a table at a restaurant and being able to order ahead of time, accessing table service and sharing the costs of the night easily with friends, colleagues, and family.
This will enable merchants to be more efficient when delivering drinks and food. It will also remove the need for cash, keep queues down, let social distancing measures stay in place where needed and keep busy environments safe.
It is also a great idea for smaller or newer merchants and independent venues who can’t afford to set up and invest in their own table service, click and collect, and order online software and systems.
They can set up and start offering a range of new services, whilst only having to learn how to use Groubook as the primary platform while integrating it into their own payment system.
Founder of the app, Bradley Gough, said: “We started developing Groubook after experiencing the pain of not knowing what’s going on, who is going where and where the best local deals. The platform was made to make life easier for customers and merchants offering their services to the public.
“It is so important that we offer a 0% commission model for at least six months so that bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs and events can see how easy our service is to use, whilst giving them a boost when they need it the most.
“Each venue will have a unique QR code which will direct users straight to a listing page on Groubook, giving businesses a direct ordering system, which is easy to use both business and consumer end.
“Pandemic and safety-wise, this means that our users will not need to carry cash, even when sharing costs and splitting bills. They will also be able to stay seated whilst ordering and navigate through the venues offering quickly.”
