Best wedding present ever? Harrow groom scoops six-figure prize in competition – including an Aston Martin

Jeylani Mohamed from Harrow is well on his way to his happily ever after after scooping a £128,000 Aston Martin plus £20,000 cash thanks to leading online competitions company BOTB, just months after getting married.

Delivery driver Jeylani, 30, was at home in Southwark when BOTB’s Christian Williams turned up in the brand-new wheels to tell him he was this week’s Dream Car Competition winner.

Jeylan, who’s been playing BOTB for 18 months, said he played for a few different cars in the competition last week but this was the ‘top one by far’.

“It’s so beautiful,” he said, still in shock. “I can’t believe it – I have so many emotions. I’m overwhelmed!”

The Aston Martin Vantage has a V8 twin-turbo 4 litre engine with 685 torque and 503bhp under the bonnet.

“You’ve got to be in it to win it,” he laughed. “And my time is now!”

BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a Midweek Lifestyle prize, where winners have bagged a quad bike, holidays to the Caribbean and £25,000 in cash.

The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £48m worth of cars so far.

Jeylani, who got married a few months ago, said he’ll use the cash part of the prize to treat his family and take them on a road trip to Cornwall.
