ATG have announced a ground-breaking partnership with Mad Devs Ltd, poised to drive efficiencies for Dealers and OEMs globally by streamlining system access and introducing substantial cost savings through cloud-based document storage, proactive lead management, and a more inclusive approach to deal stacking. The announcement follows recent news that The Group have entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Keyloop, set to add further value to automotive customers and consumers worldwide by offering more opportunities for further innovation.

A recent industry study by Automotive Transformation Group revealed that Franchised Dealers typically access between 6-10 systems during a sale, with some juggling as many as 40 or more. This excessive system hopping not only hampers dealer efficiency but also increases the risk of lead leakage and compliance breaches. ATG’s response to this challenge comes in the form of their newly launched Fusion Suite, aimed at simplifying dealership operations.

Mad Devs’ insight data underscores the impact of these manual, resource-heavy tasks, not to mention the financial impact of traditional paper-based processes through the delivery of their iStoreDocs product. Mad Devs estimate the dealer cost of paper, ink, storage and staff time to be in the region of £8-10 per deal file. Just by digitally transforming your document processes, Dealers can introduce savings of up to 65%.

Aligning seamlessly with ATG’s mission to make car-buying easy, this partnership is perfectly placed to help the automotive sector through collaborative innovation, smooth integration, and a customer-centric approach to the purchasing experience.

Expanding upon the achievements of their Fusion launch in May 2023, ATG have actively advanced the integration of Mad Devs’ iTrackLEADS and iStoreDOCS software within their broad customer network over the past 12 months. Proactive Lead Management and Cloud-based document storage are among the core elements of this Fusion suite, empowering Retailers to enhance customer lifetime value and ongoing engagement with customers across their operation, but it’s not just Dealers responding well to this initiative. Consumers are also reaping the rewards with 88% of them interacting with their consumer-facing portal to sign, access and update important documents, demonstrating a clear demand for a more democratised experience.

In a strategic move, the two companies have taken this one step further to deliver a true omnichannel solution. They’ve collaborated on the development of an all-new NetDirector® iConvert product, seamlessly integrating with ATG’s My Account feature so customers no longer need to log into a portal, but instead can interact with their user account within the award-winning NetDirector® Auto-e platform. Scheduled for full release in Summer 2024, NetDirector® iConvert marks a significant milestone in making the deal-building process more transparent and personalised. It is currently being rolled out to select automotive early adopters.

Daniel Rea, commenting on the partnership, stated, “It’s an exciting time in automotive. Digitising operations brings a myriad of benefits for dealers and consumers alike. Our partnership with Automotive Transformation Group gives them the best of both worlds. We grant the customer familiarity as they’re able to interact with the well-established, user-friendly interface of NetDirector® Auto-e, of which 80% of the UK Top 200 Retailers currently utilise. For Retailers, this allows them to continually drive consumers back to the platform to manage their existing vehicles and explore upgrades.”

Tim Smith, ATG’s CEO, emphasised, “Our recent whitepaper underscores dealers’ plans to consolidate their tech stack in 2024 and this partnership offers the perfect solution to this initiative. With NetDirector® iConvert on the horizon, the final piece of the omnichannel retailing puzzle will fit into place, simplifying the car-buying process even further, restoring both efficiency and transparency in the deal-stacking process.

The collaboration between ATG and Mad Devs represents a pivotal moment in automotive retail, promising a future of streamlined operations, cost efficiencies, and enhanced customer loyalty. For more information, stay tuned for updates regarding NetDirector® iConvert in the coming months.
