Kate Middleton: ‘Red Coat’ searches explode 376% after appearance at Westminster Abbey for carol service
Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for ‘Red Coat’ skyrocketed 376% worldwide on the 9th of December, hours after the Duchess of Cambridge was photographed wearing a red Catherine Walker coat at Westminster Abbey for a carol service that honoured pandemic heroes.
A new finding by casino experts Casino Bee reveals that online interest in quilted vests exploded to three times the average volume in one day, an unprecedented spike in interest for red coats, according to Google search data analysis. The coat was a scarlett design by designer Catherine Walker, and the data reveals that searches for ‘Catherine Walker’ exploded 1,150% on December 9th in the UK.
The research also showed that online searches for ‘Miu Miu Bag’ exploded 405% in the UK on the 9th of December, after the Duchess paired her coat with a red suede Miu Miu bag.
A spokesperson for Casino Bee commented on the findings:
“The Duchess of Cambridge is undoubtedly one of the most influental women on the planet when it comes to fashion and style and these findings only amplify that. It is a designers dream to have The Duchess of Cambridge wear one of their pieces as anything she is photographed wearing, instantly sells out.
The Duchess has an extraordinary ability to match her wardrobe with the events she attends. The fesitve red colour compliments the tone of the carol service and emphasises the thought and care put into The Duchess of Cambridge’s outfits.
The surge in interest for the pieces that the Duchess wears can be attributed to her timeless and elegant style. She is very aware of the power of fashion and how it can emphasise an event that she attends yet she never uses her outfits to overshadow anyone or any cause.”
