An innovative community app will enable its users to responsibly get rid of their waste this summer.

Tiptapp is an app where the users help each other with everyday logistical challenges – from waste collection, home delivery of second-hand items or transporting furniture across town.

David said: “In less of the time it takes to go through your excess goods, you could have a response from someone in your area in need and another user can come around to collect it from you – even better if you are without transport. The app makes sure that items are not fly-tipped by using technology – with time stamps and geo-positioning used to verify when the items are released at an approved recycling centre in order for the helper to receive the payment.”

Thanks to payment on completion through the app there is no need to meet the person helping.
