GUTTED ABOUT GLASTONBURY? DIY YOUR OWN FESTIVAL

For the second year in a row, some of the biggest names in the festival industry have had to pull the plug on their events.

Despite the Covid vaccine now being offered to all adults over 18, the impact of the pandemic is still reaping its consequences, much to the dismay of event organisers and festival goers across the country.

That does not mean the summer is lost, though, as many people will be hosting their own mini festivals (ok, garden parties!), so here’s our guide to everything you need to make your garden the next Glastonbury (well, kind of!)

FOOD: Treat yourself this festival season with Pri’s Puddings; 100% plant-based and with 50% less sugar than other vegan treats on the market, all snacks are available to buy online and individually wrapped in recyclable packaging.

If you’re looking for to sweeten up your guests, indulge in the perfect sugary snack with their IT’S POPPIN’ sumptuous pastry bites (£11.50 for 6 bites):

HAIR: Festival hair doesn’t have to be a faff; Live True London talk us through the Halo Braid, which is easier than you might think…

“First you section the front pieces of your hair, just before your ear into two.

“Taking a small section from the top of your hair you split this into three. Start a normal plait; as you are plating downwards, you need to grab hair from the left and right to join in to your plait.

“You will see the plait forming at a diagonal. Before ending the plait you will hold this with an elastic band. Continue this on the other side of your head.

“Once finished and both plaits are secure, you will then take both of these plaits and join them together at the nape of your hair and secure with a band. You will see two plaits joined creating the halo look.

“Either put your hair into a bun or add some curls. This is a great way to keep hair out of your face and still look cool!”, Tyler Moore, Manager and Hairdresser at Live True London.
