Traditionally, toothpaste tubes feature a layer of aluminium within the tube laminate structure. While effective at preventing a toothpaste from drying out, this mix of material is notoriously difficult to recycle, meaning most toothpaste tubes cannot be added to kerbside recycling boxes.
Green People’s Fresh Mint & Aloe Vera Toothpaste is instead packaged in an innovative 100% recyclable tube. It contains 50% repurposed plastic and features a recyclable plastic film instead of aluminium.
