East Midlands property market booming – and housebuilder is helping to meet this soaring demand in Northampton

The East Midlands property market is experiencing a mini property boom according to Rightmove, with house prices jumping by 9.1% in August due to soaring demand in the region.[1] To meet this growing demand, housebuilder Martin Grant Homes has unveiled its latest collection of four-bedroom homes at its popular Buckton Fields development in Boughton, just outside of Northampton.

Amongst the four-bedroom family homes available is the Boughton, a spacious detached home ideal for flexible living. Downstairs there is a large open plan kitchen/dining area, a separate lounge and study, and a utility room. Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms with an en suite to the main bedroom, and a family bathroom. The Boughton is also complete with a garage, ideal for additional storage or parking.

What’s more, for a limited time only Martin Grant Homes is offering a £10,000 deposit contribution on selected four-bedroom homes at Buckton Fields.

Dean Markall, Sales and Marketing Director at Martin Grant Homes, comments: “The property market in Northampton is red hot at the moment, with buyers driven by attractive house prices, excellent transport links, and access to green spaces. At Buckton Fields, we are seeing strong levels of enquiries from families looking to upsize into larger properties.

“The Boughton is ideal for families seeking more space, not least due to its generous size of 1421 sq ft. We recognise that buyers’ priorities have shifted permanently in favour of more flexible living arrangements, and the Boughton can be easily adapted to accommodate these needs, whether you need an office for homeworking or schooling, or a playroom.”

Buckton Fields is ideally located between Northampton and the picturesque village of Boughton, with the homes forming part of the wider Buckton Fields development. Since its launch in January 2016, the development has proved popular with the local market, creating a well-established community of young families, first time buyers and second steppers.

Once complete, Buckton Fields will offer a range of facilities, including convenience shops and services, open parkland and play spaces. This month, Buckton Fields Primary School also opened on-site and welcomed its first cohort of Reception children.

Ideal for commuters, Northampton Railway Station is just a few miles from Buckton Fields and offers direct services to London Euston in as little as 46 minutes, while Milton Keynes and Coventry are just 13 and 29 minutes respectively by train. For travel by road, the nearby M1 connects residents south to Milton Keynes or north to Leicester or Rugby and Coventry via the A428 and M45.
